In Julia Isidrez's zoomorphic repertoire, animals such as lizards, centipedes, anteaters, sheep, beetles and birds stand out, among others. The artist depicts animals native to her region in a unique way, as well as working on anthropomorphized vases, pitchers and jars, with heads and appendages emerging from the outer surfaces. Reducing their shapes with delicately executed curves, Isidrez accentuates the defining characteristics of each animal being one by one. Such representations of these animals also make use of a maintenance of their preservation.
