At the beginning of the 2000s, Luiz Zerbini produced a group of paintings made up of horizon lines and oxidized monochrome tile coverings in a grid. Também (2002), is one of these works that presents these monochromatic “grids”, which make up some of the sections of the painting, as an abstract-geometric organization that merges with the figuration of the landscape. As a second plane or section in Zerbini's pictorial systematic, what we have is an arrangement of small brushstrokes that construct a seascape associating a certain gentleness with nature.

No início dos anos 2000 Luiz Zerbini realizava um grupo de pinturas que eram compostas por linhas do horizonte e revestimentos de azulejo monocromáticos oxidados em grade. Também (2002), é um desses trabalhos que apresentam essas “grades” monocromáticas, que compõe algumas das secções do quadro, como uma organização abstrato-geométrica a se fundir com a figuração da paisagem. Como um segundo plano ou secção nessa sistemática pictórica de Zerbini, o que temos é um arranjo de pequenas pinceladas que constroem uma paisagem marítima associando certa mansidão da natureza.
