On the occasion of Advânio Lessa's first solo show in São Paulo, 'Redemoinho não leva pilão', Gomide&Co hosted the artist, Gleyce Heitor (Director of Education at the Instituto Inhotim), and João Adrien (a rural producer specializing in public policies for agriculture and climate) for a round table discussion mediated by the exhibition's curator, Valquíria Prates, on March 9th, 2024.
Entitled 'A tradição e o contemporâneo como elementos de transformações regionais, culturais e produtivas', the round table was an informal conversation about some of the most challenging issues involving art, agriculture, ancestral and artisanal knowledge, original territorial vision, technological development, and public policies related to the themes of food production, education, and art production in contemporary times.
