Gomide&Co is pleased to present the documentation of the talk with the poet Julia de Souza and the curator Rodrigo Moura, mediated by Luisa Duarte, that happened in the closing event of the exhibition "Teresinha Soares: um alegre teatro sério", on July 26, 2023. Julia de Souza is a poet and translator. She published "Covil” (2013), “Gigante vermelha” (2016) and As durções da casa (2019), all by the publisher 7Letras. She is the author of the text “Teresinha Soares e o corpo que dis "mais" (2023) that accompanies the exhibition “Teresinha Soares: um alegre teatro sério”. Rodrigo Moura is a writer, editor and curator. He has worked in Brazilian institutions such as the Museu de Arte da Pampulha, Instituto Inhotim and the Museu de Arte de São Paulo Assis Chateaubriand, where he organized the exhibition Quem tem medo de Teresinha Soares? (2017), the first solo museum exhibition dedicated to the artist. In the same year, she organized the anthology of writings by the artist “Acontecências - Crônicas dos anos 60, 70 e 80” (Cobogó publisher). He currently lives in New York, where he is chief curator of the Museo del Barrio.
